Reports

Build a report in your colours and share it through a link.

Reports are how you show your work without giving access to your tool. You compose a page from blocks, publish it and send a link.

The editor: the page and the block palette

Composing

The editor is two areas: the page in the middle, the block palette on the right. Your reports are listed on the first page of Reports; a click opens one. Drop a block, set it, move it. Changes save themselves as you type.

Block familyWhat it holds
LayoutCover, company image, free image, text and divider.
PositionsTop keywords, position trend, keywords gained and lost.
SitesA site's dashboard.
Site groupsOne block that unrolls your sites or your competitors at once.

A report covers one project. The cover picks up your company logo, set in the account settings.

Styling

Nine colour themes are offered, with a light and a dark mode. The point is that the report should look like your agency, not like a tool.

Templates

A report that works can be saved as a template, then applied to other projects. From the projects list you can even create one report per project from the same template in a single action, which is what makes monthly reporting workable across thirty clients.

Publishing and sharing

  1. 1Open sharingA report stays private until you publish it.
  2. 2Choose the accessPublic access, or protected by a password you give the client.
  3. 3Copy the linkIt ends with the report's identifier. The recipient opens it without a PositionTiger account.

Bulk publishing pushes several reports out at once, collects every link and exports them as CSV, which suits a batch send.

A link stays valid until you unpublish it. Setting a report back to private cuts access immediately, and changing the password is enough to cut off a link that spread too far.
